In the Bío Bío region, the first project of Ultra Thin Concrete pavements was started by direct administration contract. The paving unit of the region seeks to apply the U-TCP solution on low-traffic roads with high slopes. This particular project, corresponds to a concrete pavement of 8 cm of thickness with fiber, placed directly on the existing road, which was practically impassable in rainy days.
