In September, a technical visit was made to the section of the international route between Coñaripe and Pellaifa, located in the "Región de los Riós", Chile, in a mountain condition with snow in winter and rains throughout the year.

This section, tendered by the Ministry of Public Works, is being paved with Thin Concrete Pavements in 15 cm thick, with fiber reinforced concrete.

Initially, the rolling surface corresponded to a compacted granular material. Its construction has required important interventions in the geometry of the road, so that its paving will considerably increase the standard of quality and safety for users who travel it.
